  The shape...

I like the female form of a woman. They must be well formed and consistent.

They must be well proportionate and consistent. It may be not too much bosom, in addition, not too little. The same behaves it with the roundness of the cheek piece. And exactly this work was the next step. I had looked at the most diverse forms in hunt magazines and catalogs. And on the other side I have a Blaser SR88/850 with the double crease at the cheek.

 

The shape...Thus I started to bring the roundness into the walnut with a very rough rasp. This process was just as manual as the next step. Then with the carving knife I carved the cheek. The next steps were rounding the pistol grip. I paid attention to the anatomical form of the right hand. The grip should be strong and thick. For this step I used the round carving knife. Afterwards I continued with the finer rasp. And for the bedding I used a rolled piece of 80 grit sandpaper.
